Day 3 : Delhi - Agra
Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, India Gate, Fatehpuri Masjid and other Palaces. Overnight at Hotel in Agra.
Taj Mahal - This most famous Moghul monument was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal who died after 17 years of marriage, during the birth of her 14thchild. It has been described as the most extravagent monument ever built for love, Taj Mahal is closed for foriegn visitors on Friday. Stay at pristine Tajmahal for sunset, to see this true Wonder of the world in gentle late afternoon light. Overnight at Agra Hotel.
Day 4 : Agra - Delhi
Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, Fatehpur Sikri, Dayalbagh Gardens, Jama Masjid Agra the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Afternoon drive to Delhi. Transfer to Delhi International airport to board flight for onward journey.
